Great Ocean Software provides a suite of software specifically designed to meet the needs of aerial photographers. The suite currently includes four applications. The first is AP Database, an interactive-map based software package that uses EXIF GPS information to rapidly store and retrieve aerial photos. The second is AP Publisher, a powerful map-based EXIF editor and publishing tool that uses industry standards to rapidly transport aerial photos to customers. AP Reader is a free set of aerial photography tools that aerial photography customers can use to view, use and orient their aerial photos. The fourth and final tool to round out the set is Site Locator, a Google Maps-based web widget that aerial photographers can add to their web site to collect precise site information from their customers. Site Locator receives the information from the customer and creates precise flight planning information that can be directly loaded into GPS units. The AP Suite is created by Randy Anderson, a former USAF pilot, aerial photographer and PAPA member, with 25+ years of aerial photography experience.
