PAPA sponsors member exhibits in FAA offices around the country. The exhibits are intended to make air traffic controllers more aware of aerial photographers and their flight patterns. Better communication will help both photographers and controllers understand what is needed for a successful photo-shoot without compromising safety.
The exhibits were organized by Sibylle Allgaier of Heliphoto in Los Angeles, CA, with the help of local PAPA members and FAA representatives.

Barns in heavy snow, Las Vegas through a curved lens and the graceful flight of two biplanes under the moon can all be seen at Miami Tower in an aerial photography exhibit provided by the Professional Aerial Photographer's Association. The year-long exhibit showcases 16 images from various aerial photographers and is intended to promote communication and understanding between controllers and pilot photographers.
